ScaleLounge LLC ("ScaleLounge," "we," "us," or "our") is a done-for-you marketing service for entrepreneurs and small business owners, with self-serve AI tools. We are based in Scottsdale, Arizona, United States. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share your information.

This policy covers scalelounge.com (our client portal, free tools, and marketing site), katielendel.com (our personal brand and legal pages), and all ScaleLounge services. By using our websites or services, you agree to the practices described here.

Information We Collect

We collect the following kinds of information:

Information you provide

• Your name, email address, business name, and business details.
• If you start our Get Started questionnaire and give us your email address, we save your name and email as a lead at that point, even if you never finish the form. You can ask us to remove it at any time.
• Intake questionnaire answers.
• Content you generate with our tools or that we create for you.
• Support messages, community posts, and testimonials.

Payment information

Payments are processed by Stripe, our third-party payment processor. ScaleLounge does not see or store full card numbers. We store only limited billing metadata needed to manage your account.

Information collected automatically

• How you use the tools and services.
• Device and browser information.
• Your IP address and browser user agent. When you send us a form, we store these alongside what you sent, so we can trace spam and abuse.
• Cookies and analytics data.
• Whether you opened our emails and which links you clicked in them. Our marketing emails, and some of the emails we send you about your account, contain a small invisible image that tells us the email was opened, and their links pass through our site so we can record the click. We use this to see which emails are useful and to decide what to send next. Turning off images in your email app stops the open tracking, and unsubscribing stops our marketing emails.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide, operate, and improve our websites and services.
• Create the content and deliverables you request or that your plan includes.
• Process payments and manage your subscription or one-time purchase.
• Send you service messages about your account, and marketing emails you can opt out of at any time.
• Respond to your support requests.
• Keep our services secure and prevent abuse or fraud.

How We Share Information and Service Providers

We do not sell your personal information. We share information with trusted service providers who help us run our business, each of which has its own privacy terms:

• Stripe, for payment processing.
• Microsoft Azure, for website hosting, database, and file storage in the United States.
• SendGrid and Azure Communication Services, for sending email.
• If you connect social accounts for publishing, the social networks you connect and our social publishing provider, which receive the content we publish for you.
• Anthropic, for the AI behind our strategies, our content generation, our in-portal Concierge, and the tools we use to run the business. Depending on the feature this can include your intake answers and business details, your name, company and plan, and, in The Lounge, recent approved wall posts and the names and companies of the members who wrote them. For our own sales tools it can include a lead's email address, their stage, and whether they have opened or clicked our emails.
• Google Analytics, for website and client portal analytics.
• Google reCAPTCHA, for bot and spam protection on our forms.

We may also share information when required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a business transfer.

Cookies and Analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate our websites, remember your preferences, keep you signed in, and understand how our tools are used. When enabled, Google Analytics helps us measure website traffic and usage, and Google reCAPTCHA helps protect our forms from spam and bots. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not work properly if you disable them.

Data Retention

We keep your information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain your account, and meet our legal, tax, and business needs. When we no longer need your information, we take steps to delete it or remove its connection to you.

Your Rights and Choices

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information by emailing us at katie@scalelounge.com. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in those emails. Residents of some regions may have additional rights regarding their personal information, and we will honor those rights where they apply.

Security

We use reasonable measures to protect your information from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's Privacy

Our services are for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to use them. Our services are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

Where Your Data Is Stored

Your information is stored in the United States on Microsoft Azure. If you access our services from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be processed and stored in the United States.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the date on this page. Your continued use of our websites or services after an update means you accept the revised policy.
