What This Covers

This page explains how rights to content work when you use ScaleLounge. It applies to both kinds of content you may end up with: the finished deliverables we create for you under a paid plan, and the content you generate yourself using our self-serve AI tools. Read this alongside our other terms and policies, and any written agreement specific to your plan.

Content We Create For You

When we produce finished deliverables for you under your plan, such as social posts, videos, SEO articles, email newsletters, graphics, strategies and content calendars, you receive ownership of, or a usage license to, those finished deliverables. Which of the two applies, and the exact scope, is defined by your plan or your written agreement with us.

Rights to a deliverable are tied to your plan being in good standing. If work on a deliverable has not been completed or paid for, the rights described here may not yet apply to it.

Content You Generate In The Tools

Content you create with our self-serve AI tools, including hooks, social posts, blog posts, scripts, emails and on-brand replies, is yours to use for your business. You are responsible for reviewing that content before you publish or rely on it, and for making sure your use of it is lawful and accurate.

Our Platform and Materials

We retain all rights to ScaleLounge itself. That includes our software, our tools, our templates, our prompts, our workflows, our processes and our brand, along with everything that makes the platform work.

Receiving ownership of, or a license to, a deliverable is not a license to our platform or underlying materials. Your rights cover the finished content created for you or generated by you, not the systems, prompts or workflows used to produce it.

Usage and Licensing Scope

Your usage rights come with the plan you are on, and standard use of your deliverables for your own business is included. The exact scope is defined by your plan or written agreement. If you are unsure whether a particular use is covered, contact us before you proceed and we will confirm.

You are responsible for the rights to anything you provide to us. That includes your brand assets, logos, product images, copy, and any other materials you supply for us to work with. By giving us those materials, you confirm you have the right to use them and to let us use them to create your deliverables.

Portfolio and Promotion

We may show completed work in our portfolio, on our website, in case studies and in our marketing. If you have a written confidentiality agreement with us that says otherwise, we will honor that agreement and keep the relevant work private.
