Creator Rights

Overview

ScaleLounge is a done-for-you marketing service, which means most of your content is created for you rather than by you. This policy explains how that work is approved, how we may display completed work, and what rights each of us keeps. It applies to both scalelounge.com and katielendel.com and to all ScaleLounge services.

This policy works alongside your plan or written agreement and our other terms. Where a specific plan or agreement sets different or more detailed terms, those apply.

Content Approval

When we create content for you under your plan, we place it in your client portal for you to review. You review and approve that content before it is published or posted, and we act on the approval and feedback you give us.

Your feedback guides what we produce. When you approve a deliverable, you are confirming it is ready to go, and we may then publish, post, or deliver it as your plan describes. If you ask for changes, we work from the notes you leave in the portal.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information and materials you give us, and for making sure the content you approve is right for your business before it goes live.

Portfolio and Case Studies

We are proud of the work we create. Unless a written confidentiality agreement is in place, we may feature completed work, results, and testimonials in our portfolio, on our website, in case studies, and on our social media.

If you would prefer that your work not be shown this way, let us know so we can put a written confidentiality agreement in place. Once that agreement is in place, we will not feature the covered work publicly.

Paid Media and Distribution

Some content may be used in paid advertising or wider distribution, for example through a specialist paid advertising project or a broader campaign. How your deliverables can be used is set out in your plan or written agreement.

If you want to use a deliverable in a way that is not covered by your plan, just reach out and we will sort out the details with you in writing first.

Our Creative Rights

Delivering great work for you does not give away how we do it. Our concepts, strategies, frameworks, methods, templates, prompts, workflows, software, tools, and brand remain our intellectual property unless we transfer specific rights to you in writing.

Under your plan or written agreement, you receive ownership of, or a license to use, the finished deliverables we create for you, and content you generate with our self-serve AI tools is yours to use for your business. That covers the finished materials themselves, not the underlying methods and systems we use to produce them, which stay with us.
